I used to tell the story of how she came to be mine, it was a divine intervention moment where the universe handed me the most perfect of creatures. In the years since she left me I mostly just think of the life we had together - how every day without her here is hard but every day with her kids and grandkids is joyful. What I would say about Jude is she filled something I had no idea I needed, put us on a path I was not sure I wanted but am so thankful to be on. Because of her I have had the privilege of knowing so many people that make our lives better every day. That is a gift I will die being grateful for.
